End-User Experience (Search Performance) report displays trending statistics for typical modeled user-actions using this monitored web service. For EUR_Lex, agents are performing different actions that constitute a single transaction (direct search and simple search every 10 minutes) from Aix, France and Munich, Germany, mirroring on the actual users from those locations interacting with the portal.
For every probed hour statistics shows the the number and percentage of probes that succeeded under 10 seconds to complete the transaction, as well as displaying the number of failed probes (i.e. when some part of modeled transaction failed to load for some reason) for the previous day.
Graphical representation of collected metrics (available at the bottom of the page or by pressing Show\Hide table button) is useful for a quick-glance view and establishing differences in user experience from two locations as well as daily trending analysis.
Service Availability report reflect on the quality of web
services. Monitoring agents from Aix, France and Munich, Germany are
performing service relevant content search on EUR-Lex website
every 10 minutes, measuring the time it takes to perform every search.
Gathered statistics is displayed for the previous
day and on hourly basis, showing both availability and average hourly
access time. Availability statistics (shown in %) is calculated basing
on how many content searches were successful during every hour. For
example if one out of six searches has failed during hourly period,
availability would be 83%.
Site Accessibility report displays statistics on the availability of internet connections related to World Wide Web. Autonomous agents from Aix, France and Munich, Germany are connecting to EUR-Lex service sites via a TCP\IP protocol on port 80 (official port for HTTP) every 10 minutes.
Gathered statistics is displayed for the previous day and on hourly basis, showing both availability and average hourly access time. Availability statistics (shown in %) is calculated basing on how many port connections were successful during every hour. For example if one out of six connections has failed to be established during hourly period, accessibility would be 83%.
