OmniAnalyser™ displays error messages in the info window
when accessing the database. |

Reason: You have probably not installed MDAC 2.6. |

Solution:
Install MDAC 2.6. Installation file 'mdac_typ.exe' is located in
the 'MDAC' folder of the OmniAnalyser™ CD or is available for
download here. |

Global Address List report does not work. |
|
Reason:
Global Address list information was not imported into the
database. |
|
Solution:
Launch OmniAnalyser™ and import it using the 'Import Global Address
List' command located in the 'Tools' section of the Servers view
menu. |

Some OmniAnalyser™ Agents reply with a great delay or do not reply at
all. |
|
Reason 1:
You have set too large scanning interval values in
OmniAnalyser™ Agent Manager tool. |
|
Solution:
Open Hypersoft OmniAnalyser™ Agent manager and set a lower
value. |
|
Reason 2:
Your Exchange system does not work properly. |
|
Solution:
Check connectivity and mail queues between Exchange servers
hosting mailboxes of Exchange Analyser and the Agent, which which
does not respond. You can use Exchange Analyser to detect
bottlenecks. |

OmniAnalyser™ Agents return empty tracking logs, or
the returned logs contain few records. |
|
Reason:
OmniAnalyser™ does not request full events set to be reported by
Agents. |
|
Solution:
In the Servers view mark a server and check the desired events
list on the left pane. |
|

The reports are empty. |
|
Reason:
You have set too strict filtering conditions. |
|
Solution:
Set other filtering conditions. |
|
 |
OmniAnalyser™ does not start in the scheduled mode. |
|
Reason:
You have not set command line parameters or set parameters are
invalid. |
|
Solution:
Please refer to the online help or to the manual and set correct
values. |
|

When I minimize OmniAnalyser™ it disappears from the
task bar. |
|
Reason:
You have checked 'Hide to System Tray' option in the 'Tools'
section of the application menu. |
|
Solution:
In this case OmniAnalyser™ minimises to system tray. Double-click its
icon to restore Analyser to the normal size. To disable this feature
select Tools/Hide to System Tray.
