to Complex Installation Procedures and Maintenance
Hypersoft – a leading provider of IT business metrics products
announces the launch of business metering services offering. In
response to customers’ demands, new business metering services
are specifically developed to adapt to most challenging
environments of the present day.
Agile deployment procedures and compliance with the Service-Oriented
Architecture ensure reliable outcome delivery for vital IT
services that can be used both by the end-user and service

informational flows are the only true value generators and
maintaining them within sight and notion of direction is the key
for success.
Business metering services provide a set of essential
intelligence tools for any executive to uphold and unfold
strategic sections of the enterprise. Highly configurable
services structure and experienced personnel can set up any
required metering system for requested business process
monitoring. Unique graphical dashboard presentation provides a
real-world observation of key business events on one screen
without low level oversaturation. And since presented
information is transaction-based, only true statistics is shown,

The New Services Catalog of Hypersoft OmniAnalyser™ Enables
Efficient Mapping of Metrics to Service Level Agreements; The
New Framework is presented at Gartner ITxpo in San Francisco, CA
Hypersoft Information Systems announced a solution to make
working with service contracts and Service Level Agreements
easier and more convenient for enterprises around the world.
Hypersoft introduced the Services Catalog, a new added feature
for Hypersoft’s key product OmniAnalyser™. Based on an improved
service-oriented architecture of OmniAnalyser™, it allows for
documenting critical information on the Service Level Agreements
and automated generation of service metrics for successful
aligning of IT with business.
The new Services Catalog allows for providing data on the
services included into the Service Level Agreement in an
understandable and effective manner through a simple interface,
providing customers with the most comprehensive information on
the contract, key performance indicators and the services
rendered. It allows for configuring your own easy-to-understand
dashboards in the form of temperatures and graphs based on the
services you choose.
“One of the values the new Services Catalog provides is that in
addition to the possibility to configure your own common
services, working with the customer’s contract has been made
substantially easier and more efficient“, said Vlad Zhamoidzik,
Hypersoft OmniAnalyser™ Web Reports development leader.
This new feature of OmniAnalyser™ also permits to include the
entire original contract into the product’s data warehouse in
order to automatically match metrics to different contract
components, thus automating the process of assigning bonuses or
penalties.
The overall importance of the Services Catalog can be described
as it being an effective means of managing the Service Level
Agreement for reducing costs and increasing company
profitability and revenue. Hypersoft continues to deliver its
state-of-the-art technology to support companies all over the
world in improving IT efficiency and keeping the enterprise
competitive edge.
Gartner ITxpos are for Hypersoft traditionally major world
events to demonstrate new possibilities for service level
management and IT service delivery processes.
The New Service Definitions Functionality of Hypersoft
OmniAnalyser™ Allows Configuring the Delivery Parameters of IT
Services in a Simple and Easy Way for Efficient Mapping of
Metrics to Service Level Agreements
Chicago, IL, September 19, 2005
Today Hypersoft Information Systems presents the newest version of OmniContext™
for the industry’s most representative audience at the 5th Annual itSMF USA
Conference & Expo 2005 in Chicago, IL.
Hypersoft was among the pioneers of technologies that allowed quantification of
IT service input to enterprise ultimate production and efficiency. Twelve years
ago its state-of-the-art OmniAnalyser™ technology first provided exact control
of messaging and concomitant services for distributed heterogeneous environments.
Nowadays Hypersoft again places the cornerstone to defining and increasing
service value for the enterprise. Control and monitoring of computing services
now requires understanding of their business applications and correlations with
other input and output factors and parallel business processes.
Omni- (from Latin “omnis”) means all, universal. OmniContext™ is a technology
that determines value of an object after all-around exploration of the context
where it exists. Automated comprehensive investigation of links between elements
and their mutual influence brings knowledge of the object’s place in the
business system.
By measuring usage, performance, resource allocation, consumption patterns and
other related parameters of an IT service OmniContext™ defines its role in
business processes. Comparative analysis allows determining more and less
productive service consumers which permits to re-allocate existing or future
resources the most efficiently.
An essential benefit of OmniContext™ analysis methodology is the possibility to
report about actual systems that are physically unavailable. Flexible deployment
modes provide usage of OmniContext™ for ASP service-providers and individual
clients.
Another particular characteristic of OmniContext™ is providing analysis
end-to-end. OmniContext™ methodology is transaction-based, i.e. information
about single original transaction forms basis for investigations of any higher
level. This methodology gives, before all:
- an option of applying user-specific analysis logic.
- easily re-structured presentation modes. Complex indicators allow drill-down
to their simple components.
IT Service Management Forum in the United States is a most representative
conference of IT service management software vendors and experts. Hypersoft
values the chance to present the future leading trend in service analysis and to
contribute to the quality growth of the entire industry.
Hypersoft introduces support for Blackberry, Ironport and ProofPoint
Munich, July 26, 2005
Hypersoft OmniAnalyser™ tracks BlackBerry service status and resource usage by individual users and organizational units. Data delivered by
OmniAnalyser™ includes traffic dynamics, volume statistics, as well as information on message size and status, senders and recipients. Such detailed data on messages processed with BlackBerry enterprise servers allows for efficient troubleshooting. The ability to quantify Blackberry usage provides for efficient corporate communication services that
OmniAnalyser™ monitors. For example, a unified solution of OmniContext™ and
OmniAnalyser™ brings together statistics on costs to support enterprise IT and the correlations between corporate sales and quality of its services for a worldwide company. This allows determining services that deliver more business value and up to two-digit savings in IT costs with consequent optimization of service models. The unified solution allows setting user-defined comparison and business logic for data correlations so that an organization can obtain the critical information matching its ongoing projects and business model.
For Proofpoint and IronPort, OmniContext™ or the unified solution of OmniContext™ and OmniAnalyser™ delivering statistical metrics on the number of messages that were let through or blocked, identification data for every message and, for blocked messages, a reason why they were
rejected. Transaction events on Proofpoint and IronPort devices are incorporated into the comprehensive picture of enterprise IT performance, and can be analyzed with the unified solution for troubleshooting and all-inclusive performance statistics for the entire system. Thus, Hypersoft software provides complete awareness of message flow between an organization and external environment, statistics for main security threats for the corporate environment, and allows estimating actual value of security appliances.
Supported versions are BlackBerry v.2.2 for Lotus and v.3.6 for Microsoft Exchange.
Orlando, FL, June 8, 2005
Hypersoft, a global leader in IT Service management, presents at the Microsoft’s
largest annual conference for IT professionals and developers the newest
solutions for adequate depiction of status, quality and cost of computing
services.
High quality of service management implies, before all, complete awareness of
service parameters and of input-output correlations for business processes.
Digitalized solutions for these tasks face challenges of organizational
complexity, scalability, security, application integration, and business
changeability. Hypersoft OmniAnalyser™ and OmniContext™ technologies go over
these challenges and put in place sustainable service management. They
demonstrate innovative and currently unique approach to management
sustainability and universality.
Long-term management consistency and macro-view of resource efficiency are
required for enterprise-wide resource planning and control over ongoing
processes in view of planned goals. However, disintegrated and heterogeneous
large corporate environments prevent from achieving these objectives. The
solution is a different service analysis model that provides for universal
distributed data collection and normalization, centralized processing and
customized integration with business priorities. The achieved transparency
allows treating services as business input with measurable impact on corporate
business goals.
Costly patterns investigations of changing business logic or permanent efforts
to increase numbers of supported products do not allow staying updated for a
long time. Alternatively, an orientation to change-independency provides for
long-term management sustainability and savings on keeping up with environment
modifications. Hypersoft is the only vendor whose technology allows conducting
service management through most specific business and technological limitations
including new, specific and undefined business processes, technology
modifications, use of customized and in-house solutions.
Hypersoft is going to encourage further development of business-oriented
information technology by putting into effect a system of unified, transparent
and sustainable service metering and enable management of services based on
their impact on company business goals.
Munich, April 1, 2005
The challenge in measuring IT service quality is to go beyond technical
indicators to parameters that are meaningful for an end-user. Enterprises
relying on “technical” infrastructure metrics, such as servers’ uptime, have
only a very approximate picture of their service availability. End-users are
interested in availability explained “in their own language”, related to their
own computers rather than to some servers located elsewhere. This is
particularly crucial for decentralized organizations where personnel from
different sites may experience different operational performance trying to
access the same server or site.
Can users actually do the work that they are supposed to do? Simple and direct
“yes or no” and “if yes then how well” is what service management software has
to deliver. Hypersoft has implemented in its OmniAnalyser software a way to
automatically check the performance of user actions, such as sending an e-mail,
accessing a business application, or running directory requests. Such automated
testing can be accomplished from any internal or external location, to determine
whether an eventual bottleneck is on the server side or somewhere between
end-user and the data center. This information is of primary importance because
it measures real availability and determines real cost of the service. The
end-user experience expressed in business terms and aligned with
business-specific requirements creates a predictable environment for business
and contributes to increased credibility of IT service operators.
Hypersoft’s OmniAnalyser™ has already been acknowledged as the first product to
bring E-mail analysis to a professional level and provide companies with the
information they need to leverage their communication system for a competitive
advantage. New features released in OmniAnalyser 8.7 stay strategically
important for E-mail Administrators and IT Management, and give absolutely
invaluable information for CTO’s and staff on the business side of the companies.
Hypersoft now successfully collects not only data about E-mail
communication, but also data about fax, SMS, and voice mail communication, all
of which are rapidly growing, and clearly present the results in consolidated
Web Reports. This large and easily customisable spectrum of reports can be
regularly presented to administrative staff in an Internet browser or via E-mail.
Newly developed technologies have a set of features that will collect data about
server tracking and billing data as well. Currently Hypersoft OmniAnalyser™ is
compatible with several widespread billing solutions.
The benefits are obvious: reduction of administrative time and costs, prevention
of possible problems before they appear, ability to understand workflow and
resource usage, cost chargeback from the departments.
You can request more information about OmniAnalyser™ or arrange an evaluation at
the
OmniAnalyser™ Further Information page, or contact
information@hypersoft.com with additional enquiries.
Hypersoft specialises in professional analytical applications for corporate

Hypersoft is presenting a new milestone for its OmniAnalyser™ and OmniContext™
products. Omni-suite provides to a decision-maker automated reporting on
performance of business-critical processes, measuring and analysing them by the
key indicators. The software equally allows to align IT services with business
needs through service level assessment, allocate costs for their consumption by
users; and provides operations management with trends and system performance
data.
IBM chose Hypersoft products to serve as the standard
Messaging Metrics and Reporting Engine for Groupware and E-mail
Systems.
Hypersoft delivers graphical, topological and numerical
information for making both short-term and strategic decisions.
The last product version was augmented by a comprehensive set of
Service Management metrics that allow to simulate and report the
real end-user experience on using major services of a corporate
messaging environment (mail file, databases, SMTP, Fax).
Availability of these services is reported with regard to the
company’s business hours and organizational structure. The
software runs on both Windows and Linux operation systems, and
supports end-to-end message delivery monitoring, for complex
Lotus Notes environments, and other mail platforms such as
Microsoft Exchange, Sendmail and other SMTP servers.
OmniAnalyser™ new version expands its scope into the IBM
Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing services. Reports
deliver information on availability, usage, and performance of
the platform, and allow for capacity planning and cost
allocation decisions. .
Hypersoft will also present the new release of
OmniContext™ - the visualization and analysis solution for
information assets. OmniContext™ processes differently formatted
data stored in decentralized locations and it is a powerful and
secure technology for enterprise reporting and business process
analysis.
Hypersoft continues to deliver its state-of-the-art
technology to support companies in making their business
processes accountable and manageable through automated
monitoring and analysis. Hypersoft looks forward to Lotusphere
as a major world event to demonstrate new possibilities for
service level management and IT operations optimization.
The second part of the conference « Admin2004 Europe » took place in Paris in
December 2004.
The administrators and developers using Lotus/Domino are very familiar with the
event’s organizer — the magazine “The View”. The conference usually took place
in the United States (Boston).
The transatlantic success wave has brought the conference to reach Copenhagen
and then Paris, to the great satisfaction of numerous IBM/Lotus technology
professionals who arrived from all over Europe and even from further remote
destinations.
Hypersoft, the world leader in metrology, analysis, reporting and metrics of
service levels for messaging systems, naturally became Premium Gold Sponsor of
the two European conferences "Admin 2004", where the industry experts held more
than 30 sessions in six major tracks.
Important and popular issues covered in the conference included “Performance
Monitoring and Tuning” and “Upgrade Planning and Implementation”. Hypersoft in
co-operation with EDS MCS (Messaging Collaborative Services) presented a session
oriented on service level management and improvement by the means of monitoring
and efficient analysis of the messaging infrastructure (« Improve IT Service
Management by Monitoring and Reporting the Availability , Quality and
Utilization of your Messaging Services – New messaging SLA : a customer
requirement »).
The goal of this session was to draw attention to the growing problems faced by
companies trying to deliver services of higher quality, and to discuss the IT
Service Management approach and the best ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library)
experience. It was an attempt to evaluate the importance of having a proactive
approach rather than reactive for information services management (Reporting
Analysis vs. Real-Time Supervision).
Nowadays the IT market clearly shows that — to respond to availability
limitations that go crescendo, to assure optimal service quality for users, to
execute efficiently metrical processes in messaging and collaboration
applications real-time monitoring became insufficient. Henceforward, it is of
primary importance to have a perfect knowledge of your messaging infrastructure,
of its functioning and of its usage. Quality measurements for the delivered
services need to be performed from the end-user perspective, i.e. it is
important to distinguish the service quality "relative" to the system and the
service quality perceived by the customer. This would not have become possible
without the appropriate technology.
Service level management and perfect knowledge of your messaging infrastructure
are true magic for mastering IT costs, creation of a reliable expenses model and
adequate billing.
With this conference being oriented strongly on the current situation in the IT
services market, and particularly on the market of business messaging and
peripheral services, Hypersoft made public the new version of OmniAnalyser,
v.8.7. as well as its business intelligence software OmniContext.
Having arrived at the end of the three conference days and taking in
consideration the general satisfaction expressed by numerous visitors, it is
safe to bet that Admin will come back to Europe next year and why not once more
to Paris!

Hypersoft Information Systems announces
at ADMIN 2004 the new
availability monitoring functionality in its award-winning
OmniAnalyser™ software.
This new features include calculating mail server
availability separately for each Store when it concerns
Miscrosoft Exchange Availability. Server availability in the
network can now be also probed by sending TCP/IP pings.
Apart from just pinging the server, pinging any specified
port is also possible. If the server hosts pages or files
that are available via HTTP protocol, the availability of
such HTTP resources can also be checked with the new version
of OmniAnalyser™, even if accessing these resources requires
special authorization with the HTTP server. Mail links
between local and remote servers can now be checked by
sending Round Trip messages, information on which will also
be present in OmniAnalyser™ reports.
For these new types of availability information, real-time
and history reporting, as well as sending alerts when
critical situation occur, are available. System
administrators can now have data on most critical aspects of
system availability collected in one tool and delivered
exactly where they need it.
Mail server availability information was present in
OmniAnalyser™ reports since early OmniAnalyser™ versions,
however, as the product grows to embrace more and more
sources of data, these new availability features are the
next step in making OmniAnalyser™ the ultimate product for
all monitoring, metering and reporting needs.

real-time report indicating whether the virus engine is
working correctly or not by periodically sending an infected
test mail to the servers. The second type of report provides
a summary about all running ScanMail™ applications installed
on different servers throughout the network. This includes
the server name, ScanMail™ version number, version number of
the virus engine, and the pattern number.
All reports can be easily scheduled and
fully automated thanks to various user defined filter
settings. Reports can be either published through the

OmniAnalyser™ 8.0 features numerous new
reports such as Message Delivery Delays, Message Size
Distribution, Database Replication Delays, and many others
reports and the Self-Analysis report which displays the
internal state of the OmniAnalyser™ database so that any
missing data can be easily identified by user, and
re-requested with the help of OmniAnalyser™ console.
Improvements in reporting functionality
include new drill-down functionalities for the Server
Availability report and an “Access Time” filter for hiding
servers under a critical latency value from the report.
The new version of the OmniAnalyser™
Integration Server can automatically publish graphs together
with reports or publish a report as an XML file on the
network. They have pivot tables, which display details of
data collection for each date for Mailboxes and Server
Availability data and help troubleshooting data collection.
The redesigned reports list allows users the logon to
Hypersoft reports website, to see only the most frequently
used reports and hide the rest of the reports tree.
There also are several innovations on
the functionality side. The monitoring Agent can now monitor
and alert on any specified parameter on a Windows machine,
report on the performance history of monitored parameters,
and monitor the Windows event log as well as any events from
the Lotus Domino server logs. The Scan Agent is now able to
check Last Access information for users of the mail servers.
Further improvements have been made to
ensure seamless OmniAnalyser™ operation across all supported
platforms, which currently include Microsoft Exchange, Lotus
Domino, SendMail and Sun One Integration Server (iPlanet).
The operation of OmniAnalyser™ has
become more robust with the introduction of the
Self-Analysis report with the complete details of the
enterprise-wide messaging data collection process.

Hypersoft Information Systems announces
the availability of real-time monitoring of NT events with
the new version of award-winning OmniAnalyser™.
Information on both Windows and user activities is a
necessary foundation for system administration: it forms the
estimation of how secure is the entire enterprise. Every
administrator dreams to have alerts right in time of audited
events, especially with right-away command execution. The
opportunity to have it in real time, as implemented in
OmniAnalyser™ Version 8.0, provides users with absolutely
new quality of security.
Data on system errors and warnings, as well as
application-generated information prompts user for better
decisions on usage regulations and system optimisation. The
earlier reports are available, the more effective become
necessary actions. This is even more important in concern
with security logging. Valid and invalid logon to the
system, access to files and folders, changes to accounts and
groups will be known immediately. Auditing can be set for an
attempt by a particular user to read a certain file, for
changes in security settings, for creating and deleting of
specified objects. Information on these and other events
will be displayed on the web server, thus administrator can
check it any minute without searching through Event Viewer.
Moreover, alert on events according to user’s definition can
be delivered to appropriate location with a single line
command.
